The Riccagioia Foundation is promoted by two entities that represent complementary expertise in the fields of research, rural development, and agro-food innovation. Their collaboration has resulted in a governance model that combines the strategic direction and territorial roots of the public sector with the operational drive and innovation orientation of the private sector.
ERSAF, the Regional Agency for Agricultural and Forestry Services, is a technical and promotional agency of the Lombardy Region that carries out activities aimed at the development and innovation of the agricultural and forestry sectors and the rural territory, with a focus on transversality and multifunctionality. It works alongside local authorities in order to promote the enhancement of both local resources and skills and the potential for innovation.
RURALL is a reality specialized in the development of innovation projects in the agro-food and rural sector, part of the Bonifiche Ferraresi group. It operates as a platform for design and partnership between companies, research centers and institutions, promoting initiatives in applied research, technological transfer and the valorization of production chains.
